The longest distance walking over hot plates is 25 m (82 ft 0.25 in) and was achieved by TV presenter Florian Silbereisen (Germany), during the live broadcast of Das Herbstfest der Volksmusik, in Chemnitz, Germany, on 15 October 2011. Florian is a popular presenter of German Volksmusik programmes. He is also a musician and tours with a stage version of his successful TV series.
