Lauren is an Environmental Studies major with a minor in
sociology at Texas A&M University. She enjoys studying geography,
oceanography, climate change, and social geography. Additionally, she is
currently researching food deserts at Texas A&M. Lauren is a
member of the Association of American Geographers, the International
Sociology Honor Society, and the Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority.
In her spare time, Lauren can be found running the track, practicing yoga, and watching independent films. She considers herself to be an avid foodie. Lauren loves to travel, and relishes the ability to visit a new place and experience it’s local culture. When she isn’t traveling, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her Russian tortoise.
